I have nothing but praise for Dr. Kokkalera and his team. In the consultation, he was attentive and listened to my health concerns as to why I was referred to him for gallbladder removal surgery. I was also given the opportunity to make a decision on whether to go ahead with the surgery or not once he explained the pros and cons of the procedure.His team at the hospital were also amazing and attentive on the day of the surgery. They kept those taking care of me after the surgery well informed and checked on me periodically through the day. Even after I got home and had some bad side effects from the anesthesia (first time under it, so no one had any idea how I would react), I was able to call and get ahold of him right away. Dr. Kokkalera saved my life! I was overweight which had caused me to develop an hiatal hernia which gave me acid reflux. I was in pain all the time and very depressed about my weight. Dr. Kokkalera treated my grandmother for a paraesophageal hernia and a sliding hiatal hernia. Her recovery time was faster than expected, minimal pain and is feeling better than ever to this day.
